Aloo Paratha
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 medium potato, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Ghee or oil for cooking
- Water for kneading
Method
- Knead the whole wheat flour with water into a soft dough and set aside.
- Mix mashed potato with cumin seeds, turmeric, coriander powder, green chili, and salt.
- Divide the dough into small balls, roll out into a small circle, place a spoonful of potato mixture in the center, and fold the dough over it.
- Roll out the stuffed dough into a paratha and cook on a hot tawa with ghee until golden brown on both sides.
